Ms. Oliver co-founded Meany & Oliver Companies Inc. in 2004. The firm provides brokerage, consulting and investment services to landlords and tenants in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. During its first year, Meany & Oliver Companies, Inc. completed approximately $750 million of transactions. These transactions included the ownership representation for the 625,000 square foot Corporate Executive Board lease at Waterview. This was the largest private sector office lease ever completed in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Additionally, she negotiated the American Trucking Association lease for space at 950 N. Glebe Road.

Ms. Oliver had overall responsibility for the leasing and management of The JBG Companies’ entire commercial portfolio. This portfolio consisted of approximately 20 million square feet of office space, both existing and under development. Projects included Waterview, 1601 K Street, Potomac Center, Arlington Gateway, Chase Tower, 1801 N. Lynn Street and Twinbrook Metro Center. Major transactions included Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, Watson Wyatt, The Ritz Carlton Headquarters, and CapitalSource. Additionally, she completed over one million square feet of GSA leases including the FEMA Headquarters lease.

Ms. Oliver directed the activities of the Maryland leasing and sales operations. She was an active broker representing the interests of major developers and significant tenants in the marketplace. She represented the interests of such tenants as IBM, ADP, Kaiser Permanente, CTA, McDonnell Douglas, and BT Tymnet. In addition, Ms. Oliver successfully marketed properties on behalf of Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, The JBG Companies, Core Development, Prudential, and Riggs Bank.
As a member of Grubb & Ellis’ Circle of Excellence, Ms. Oliver was designated as one of the top 100 brokers at Grubb & Ellis.

Ms. Oliver was a principal of the firm and Director of Maryland Leasing and Commercial Sales. She was a member of the President’s Club and Top Producer in 1988.

Ms. Oliver was the Vice President and Regional Director of Marketing for Institutional Services. She directed leasing and marketing of all properties owned by institutional investors in the Washington metropolitan area and was a member of the President’s Club.

Ms. Oliver was responsible for the leasing of Equitable’s 2.5 million square foot portfolio in Montgomery County, Maryland, along with several other properties in the Washington Metropolitan market. Responsibilities included the leasing, sales and asset management of hotel, retail, industrial, and office properties.
